Inés Rosales is well known for its unwavering commitment to people, society and the environment.
Part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations in 2015, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure peace and prosperity for all.
Inés Rosales has been making traditional Andalusian confectionery products for more than a hundred years. These are created using artisan methods and only the finest ingredients, such as extra virgin olive oil.
Inés Rosales is committed to ensuring gender equality and equity in the workplace. We also strive to bring value to our local community and have a positive impact on its members.
Acutely aware of ongoing water shortages, we have installed innovative nozzles on all our taps. These have reduced the amount of water we use by 95%.
At Inés Rosales, we only work with ethical and socially responsible suppliers. The agreements we have in place with them allows us to ensure the quality of their work as well as foster sustainable growth for all.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we organise guided tours and open days of our modern factory for the families of staff and members of the public.
Our tortas come in recycled and recyclable plastic (PET) packaging. Each torta is also wrapped in recycled
wax-coated cellulose paper.
Products with imperfections that cannot be sold are donated to charity. This means zero waste and allows us to help those in need.
As part of our quest to make our operations more environmentally friendly, we have installed solar panels at our facilities. This has significantly increased our energy efficiency, and has prevented the release of 1,450 tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere (the equivalent of planting 7,170 trees).
